The Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMESHA) concerns over the jeolous reports from the UN World Food Programme on Aljazeera channel which is far-off the truth and says that “vast majority” of food aid is reaching starving amid reports of deliveries stolen and sold.
SOMESHA started to do reliable and independent monitoring and evaluation the reason caused for the recent Somalia government troops opened fire Friday on hungry civilians, killing seven people and acknowledged that WFP is currently fuming the way aid is going on because Somalia government is now hosting a few different aid from Arab countries directly without UN linkages and WFP is seeking to propagate the emergency lifesaving efforts from Arab Countries in order to take the lead.
On the other hund, The United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator (ERC), Ms Valerie Amos, has just completed a three-day mission to Kenya and Somalia.
Ms Valeries Amos, noted “We need to do more to help people in Somalia,” she said after being told by one Somali refugee woman that she had lost all four of her children on the journey to Dadaab. “No one should have to endure such suffering,” she continued.
