The Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMESHA) is an association of journalists and media practitioners specialized to expand and improve media coverage of key nation issues such as climate change, the environment, agriculture, science, public health, migration, peace-keeping and civil insecurity.
SOMESHA is a non-profit and non-governmental association that was established in 2010. It is an umbrella organization of over 30 journalists and media professionals from different country districts. The association brings together the largest number of journalists in Somalia.
Members of the association are professionals whose mission it is to tell the world about the substantial challenges of environmental concerns in their country.
The association is the 48th member of the World Federation of Science Journalist (WFSJ) and we wish it and its members a lot of succes on there journey.
