SOMESHA mourns the death of strong Environ journalist in Mogadishu

Ismael-halaneThe Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMESHA) is announcing the death of Ismael Halane who died the yesterday’s terrorist attack on the Ministry of Culture and Higher Education in Mogadishu, The capital city of Somalia.

The terrorist group Shabab said it was behind the attack caused the death of nine people including the prominent Somali journalist who also keen on to investigate and report pirates related issues and the injury of more than 10 government workers, soldiers  and civilians.

He was a member of SOMESHA and was one of our latest new members of the Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMESHA).

SOMESHA members and its leadership are sending their deepest condolences to the families of those killed in the attack, in particularly the entire Somali journalists and the family of late Ismael Halane.
