HERDO pledged to develop Kahda district Women and Child health Care Programmes

herdo-logoThe Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMESHA) thrilled to announce that HEEGAN Relief And Development Organization (HERDO) is planning to develop Kahda district in Mogadishu health related issues. HERDO is voluntary impartial, Non political, nonprofit making body that works in humanitarian and developmental promotion throughout all the geographical areas of Somalia and is national level NGO based in Mogadishu in which was established in 2011.

 

The Secretary General of the Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMESHA)  Mr. Daud Abdi Daud visited HERDO center in Kahda district today and met HERDO leaders such Mr. Mohamed Hussein Nur and Osman Hussein by discussing the HERDO projects in the district generally.

 

HERDO is focusing next year Somalia’s maternal and Child health issues according to their ongoing plan like the Education, Health, Environment conservation, promotion of human-rights, rehabilitation and Resettlement of IDPs.

 

HERDO has been in the field for the last five years under-taking on the solution of above mentioned problems that were traditional in Somalia since the fall of central government. SOMESHA expressed HERDO to create a close relationship with UNHCR, WHO, FAO, OCHA, UNICEF, UNFPA, USAID, Save the Children, and the other international agencies working in Somalia programmes.
